The wicked one is attracted to our ignorance. The area where we lack understanding usually gives the enemy an advantage over us – making us to become barren and unfruitful.
And though we have the potential to bring forth amazing things through the power of the Word of God – this becomes impossible because we lack understanding.
This is why the Psalmist prayed ‘give me understanding and I shall live’ – life, fruitfulness and great productivity are all products of our understanding.
“When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.” (Matthew13:19)
“… And in all your getting, get understanding”.
(Proverbs 4:7)
